Tanzania is arguably Africa’s greatest all-round destination. It has the largest intact ecosystem in the world (Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Selous corridor), the highest peak in Africa (Kilimanjaro at 5,895m), the deepest lake in Africa (Tanganyika), the most densely populated wildlife destination in Africa (Ngorongoro Crater), and one of the world’s most beautiful island escapes (Zanzibar). Whether trekking to Kilimanjaro’s summit, watching the great migration on the Serengeti plains, or diving in Zanzibar’s coral reefs, Tanzania never disappoints.
