Afternoon game drive immediately upon arrival. The Mara is home to the largest predator concentration in Africa.

Fly from Amboseli to Samburu (via Nairobi Wilson, approx 1hr total). Samburu is dramatically different – dry, riverine bush north of Mount Kenya.

Afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River – crocodile, elephant, and leopard in the riverine forest.

Morning game drive. Large elephant herds cross the Ewaso Nyiro River daily.
Afternoon: Drive or fly south to the Mount Kenya region (Nanyuki area).
 

Mount Kenya is Africa’s second highest peak at 5,199m.
Visit the equator marker at Nanyuki – the only place you can stand with one foot in each hemisphere.
