| Days 16–17 | Uganda: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest — gorilla trekking |

Practical Notes
- Total gorilla permits required: 2 per person ($800 Uganda + $1,500 Rwanda = $2,300). Book 6 months ahead.
- Recommended route: Fly Nairobi–Kilimanjaro (Tanzania entry), then Zanzibar–Entebbe (Uganda entry).
- Best months: July–October (migration + gorillas). January–February (calving + gorillas).
